Hiroshima Sunset

Taken just a few minutes after Sunflake, this image is of the sunset below the cloud layer. Having done my fair share of flying, I have never seen a more amazingly surreal sight from the air. These colors are not manipulated... It truly looked like a sea of fire below the aircraft. The visceral sight guided my mind towards the explosive legacy of the town I was on my way to visit, Hiroshima. I truly hope to see the view again someday.
